Overview
Build a Bundle lets you create fixed-price product bundles by combining a main product with multiple complementary products. Customers can purchase the bundle as a single offering while the individual products are automatically handled through the cart and checkout.
From the app, you can create and manage bundles, display bundle offers on your storefront, and monitor bundle performance through analytics.
Getting Started
1. Install the App
Install Build a Bundle from the Shopify App Store and open the app from your Shopify admin.
After installation, you'll be taken to the app dashboard where you can start creating your first bundle.
Dashboard
The Dashboard gives you a central place to manage your bundles and access the main features of the app.
From the dashboard, you can:
- Create a new bundle
- View existing bundles
- Manage Active and Draft bundles
- Access Analytics
- Access Support
- Navigate to other app features
Creating a Bundle
Creating a bundle only takes a few steps.
Step 1: Open Create Bundle
From the app dashboard, click Create Bundle.
Step 2: Add Bundle Details
Enter the required bundle information:
- Bundle Title — Add a name for your bundle.
- Bundle Price — Set the fixed price customers will pay for the bundle.
- Main Product — Select the primary product for the bundle.
- Add-on Products — Select the additional products you want to include.
Step 3: Save the Bundle
Review your bundle details and click Save.
Your bundle will then be available in the app under your bundle list.
Bundle Management
The View Bundles section allows you to manage all your created bundles from one place.
You can:
- View Active bundles
- View Draft bundles
- Search for bundles
- Edit bundle details
- Update bundle products
- Update bundle pricing
- Delete bundles
- Open a bundle on the storefront
Active & Draft Bundles
Bundles can be organized by their status, making it easier to distinguish between bundles currently being used and bundles that are still being prepared.
Editing a Bundle
To update an existing bundle:
- Open View Bundles.
- Find the bundle you want to change.
- Click Edit.
- Update the bundle title, price, main product, or add-on products.
- Save your changes.
The updated bundle configuration will be reflected on the storefront.
Storefront Bundle Widget
Build a Bundle displays your bundle offer directly on the product page through a storefront widget.
The widget allows customers to see the available bundle and purchase the bundled products together.
The bundle widget works with the configured main product and its selected add-on products.
Cart & Checkout
When a customer purchases a bundle, the selected bundle products are added to the cart together.
The app keeps the bundle products synchronized throughout the purchasing flow, allowing the customer to continue from the product page to the cart and checkout.
Customer Flow
Product Page → Bundle Selection → Add to Cart → Cart → Checkout
The configured bundle price is applied to the bundle according to your bundle settings.
Analytics
The Analytics section provides insights into your bundle performance.
You can use analytics to understand how your bundles are performing and identify your top-performing offers.
Analytics includes information such as:
- Bundle revenue
- Bundle orders
- Sales trends
- Top-performing bundles
- Performance insights
Use these insights to understand which bundles are generating the most activity and revenue.
Bundle Performance
The analytics area helps you compare the performance of your bundles and identify which products or bundle combinations perform best.
This can help you make informed decisions when creating or updating future bundles.
