About the role

As our Shopify SEO/SMO Rockstar, you'll be the maestro of our digital symphony, orchestrating SEO and SMO strategies that make our website rise to the top of the charts. Your role is to amplify our online presence, making sure we're the headline act in search results and the talk of the social media town.

Experience Required

Minimum 1+ year experience required

Responsibilities:

  • SEO Serenade: Optimize our website to make search engines fall head over heels for us.
  • SMO Jamming: Create and curate content that gets our social media channels dancing to the beat of our brand.
  • Content Composer: Craft engaging blog posts, videos, and social media updates that captivate our audience.
  • Keyword Whisperer: Research and select keywords that are music to Google's ears and hashtags that make tweets trend.
  • Analytics Virtuoso: Monitor and analyze SEO/SMO performance, fine-tuning our strategies for maximum impact.
  • Collaboration Conductor: Work your magic with our marketing team, designers, and fellow digital rockstars to harmonize our efforts.
  • Sarcastic Sensation: Bring humor to the office with your witty insights and amusing SEO/SMO anecdotes.

What we're looking for

  • Knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Technical SEO knowledge and ability to identify issues and provide recommendations
  • On-page recommendations to improve the overall traffic and conversion rate
  • Preparing detailed website audit reports using SEO tools like Ahrefs and SEMrush
  • Ability to search high-quality sites across different niches for link building
  • Proficiency in writing outreaching emails
  • Ability to search for relevant keywords using SEO tools
  • Measure results and generate reports using SEO tools like SEMrush and Good Analytics
  • Coordinate with content writers to help them create high-quality and SEO-friendly content
  • Ability to upgrade strategies based on changing SEO trends
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
